The claws come up first, two curled fists below a pair of big black dot eyes, and suddenly this tiny orange lobster looks ready to defend the entire shelf. The ridged body trails behind in neat segments down to a short tail.
Stubby legs line the sides, and the bright orange runs unbroken from nose to tail. Flat on its belly, it holds its ground like it pinched somebody once and would happily do it again.
Anyone who names their belongings is going to name this one within the hour.
