A tan geometric column rises from three stacked smooth rings, its surface carved into diamond-shaped facets that spiral upward. Twin nuts sit on the threaded shaft, and twisting the main piece sends them gliding in opposite directions. A black spring is visible inside the lower section, and a dark band marks the midpoint of the textured column.
Hold the base and turn the shaft. The nuts move apart, then together, then apart again in a smooth loop. The overlapping scale-like pattern catches light as the facets shift, and the threaded motion gives steady tactile feedback as you turn it.
