This articulated Fruit Bat lies flat with both wings spread wide, showing a striking two-tone pattern. The body is predominantly yellow with a bumpy, scale-like texture across its torso. Green accents define the wing frames, while the membrane panels shift from green near the body to yellow at the scalloped edges. Recessed eyes and a rounded snout give it a slightly mischievous expression.
The segmented wings are connected by small hinge joints, and the left wing shows a bold two-tone split with a solid green inner panel alongside yellow on the outside. The right wing transitions more gradually from green to yellow. Pull the wings backward and release them to watch the rubber band mechanism snap the wings forward in a flapping motion.
The rubber band is threaded through tiny anchor points hidden along the back and wing joints. You will notice it the moment you pick the bat up and feel the elastic resistance between the wing segments.
