The eyes sit right on top of the head, huge and round, giving this frog the look of someone who just heard a very loud noise. The green body ripples into stacked segments running down the back.
Four legs hold the crouch low and ready, with webbed feet spread at each corner like it might actually jump. It never will. That is fine.
Whatever startled it happened years ago. It has not recovered.
